The demand for Muslim food and lifestyle products is growing. Did you know that the global Muslim population is around 1.6 billion (23% of the total global population)? Said to be worth about USD 2.6 trillion by 2020, the halal industry needs to embrace digital advancements to grow in parallel with the growing Muslim population. Malaysia as a global focal point for the halal industry has an ecosystem which is supported by strong economic fundamentals and various market-driven initiatives. Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) is an annual trade event that provides a platform for businesses to showcase the great potential of the halal industry to the world.
MIHAS 2018 to lead the global halal trade
The 15th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS 2018) is hosted by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) of Malaysia. It will be held on 4 to 7 April 2018 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). Also the world’s largest halal event, MIHAS has been growing its repertoire as a global sourcing platform for Halal products. In line with its vision to boost the halal industry to Go Halal digitally, MITI has appointed SuperAnt as the Official Digital Partner of MIHAS 2018. This partnership will enable participants from 30 countries to experience new innovative technology solutions.
Coupled with the partnership, SuperAnt will be providing full Digital Health Check (DHC) assessments to all 200 participating exhibitors. The assessment will help businesses pinpoint their digital journey, also determining their website ROI quality. SuperAnt is a technology company that provides IoT and digital marketing solutions. Correspondingly, we strive to optimize the access to technology for everyone. We want to help businesses to go digital and to connect ASEAN businesses to the world.
Furthermore, visitors will get on-the-spot DHC reporting and free consultation. Come and meet us to learn more about your company’s digital assets. SuperAnt’s DHC: evaluates your company website and social media performance, it also generates a digital scoring—comparing your digital assets to the industry benchmarks in which will help to enhance your overall digital presence and exposure. Malaysia is on track to become a global halal hub, leading the halal industry to go beyond food and beverage sectors. Local businesses are highly encouraged to venture into other halal sectors like Islamic financing, pharmaceuticals, logistics and halal tourism.
Therefore, mark your calendars for MIHAS 2018. SuperAnt will be at MIHAS 2018, leading the global halal trade to Go Digital. See you there!
